Ffilm fer: Bara Menyn

Dyma’r ffilm fer ‘Bara Menyn’ cefais gyfle i’w sgriptio ar gyfer Cwmni Cynhyrchu It’s My Shout, a chael bod yn rhan o Gronfa Dalent 2o14 y cwmni. Fe ddangoswyd y ffilm ar S4C ar yr 17eg o Dachwedd 2014.

Fe’i chyfarwyddwyd gan Ynyr Ifan, ac roeddwn wedi gwirioni gweld fy ngeiriau yn fyw ar y sgrin, yn enwedig yn dod o enau’r anhygoel Sharon Morgan.

Ardal Rhydaman oedd yn ysbrydoliaeth i’r ffilm, ac yn benodol, ymweliad The Who a’r dref yn 1966. Felly, os ydych chi’n lico sandwijes, Mamgus hanner call a dwl a 60s rock, byddwch wrth eich boddau gyda ‘Bara Menyn’.

I wrote a short film Bara Menyn (Bread and Butter) for It’s My Shout Productions, and was featured in the company’s Talent Pool of 2014. The film premiered on S4C on the 17th of November 2014.

Directed by Ynyr Ifan, I was enthralled to see my words come to life on screen, and Sharon Morgan was the ultimate rock and roll gran!

The film was inspired by Ammanford and the town’s surrounding area, and specifically the knowledge that The Who and other famous bands had visited and performed there… something unfathomable in this day an age, where our biggest bands don’t venture further West than Cardiff. So, if you like sandwiches, wild Mamgus and 1960s rock, I hope you’ll enjoy Bara Menyn.
