‘Nora Davies’ Mock Exam… and Mine’, 100 Voices 100 Years

Today (11/5) a short piece I wrote inspired by the theme ‘Finding a Voice’/’Achievement’ was published on the 100 Voices 100 Years project website. I recalled a certain school memory where a fellow classmate and I were unintentionally put head to head by a teacher who blatantly had a favourite. (Spoiler: that favourite wasn’t me!)

It’s an honour to be amongst the 100 inspiring voices that are featured on the blog, that’s a worthy celebration of women’s voices and experiences.

You can read and listen to the piece (if you really want to hear my lovely West Walian accent reading it!) by clicking here.

Cyfranais at brosiect 100 Voices 100 Years, gan ymateb i’r thema o ‘ganfod llais’, gan adrodd stori am adborth arbennig o ddi-ddim a dderbyniais am waith ysgol… a chodi fy llais i gwmpo mas gyda’r athro ar y pryd!

Mae’r wefan yn ddathliad o leisiau benywaidd, canrif wedi i’r carfan gyntaf o fenywod dderbyn y bleidlais, a dwi’n falch iawn cael bod yn rhan o’r llyfrgell o leisiau gwych sydd wedi eu cyhoeddi yno eisoes.

Mae’r darn yma – ar ffurf ysgrifenedig ac wedi ei recordio – i chi ddarllen neu gwrando arno ar wefan y prosiect.
